If your child sustains a dental injury, make sure to call our dental office right away. After listening to the situation, we will determine if you should bring them in to see our emergency dentist near North Plains the same day or wait until a later time. Most dental emergencies can be handled in-house by our team of experts, but some instances require an immediate trip to the emergency room, such as a broken or fractured jaw, excessive bleeding that doesn’t stop after 10 minutes, and swelling that affects your ability to breathe.
Once your child is in our care, we will quickly work to eliminate any pain before establishing a treatment plan to address the underlying issue.
Because six-month dental checkups and cleanings are essential for any young person’s oral health development, it’s necessary that you bring your little one in regularly. On average, these types of appointments can cost between $200 and $350 in the United States. However, if you are insured, there’s a good chance that you’ll receive 80-100% coverage for any preventive service.
Considered the cornerstone of any good dental practice, preventive care is pivotal for patients if they want to minimize their risk for toothaches, infections, and serious damage. This is why it’s highly recommended that you keep your child’s six-month appointments with our dentists near North Plains so that their teeth, gums, and bite can be closely monitored as they grow.
It’s always important to use your dental insurance if you have it. This will help you save money when visiting the dentist’s office. When meeting with our dental team to discuss your child’s treatment plan, we’ll go over ways you can pay, one of which is by allowing us to review your plan and file any necessary paperwork and claims to your insurance provider. We want to help you keep more money in your pocket, so we’ll identify ways you can maximize your benefits before the end of the calendar year.
