Born and raised in Oregon, it was only natural for Dr. Royse to attend the University of Oregon and The Oregon Health Sciences University School of Dentistry. After graduating with honors, he chose to use his experience, training, and passion to serve as a dental officer with the United States Navy. After more than a decade of service, he chose to pursue a pediatric residency. If that wasn’t impressive enough, he ran his own practice in downtown Portland for more than 18 years and is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
While Dr. Royse’s extensive education and background before joining our team is no doubt impressive, it’s his commitment to providing quality, caring dentistry that truly makes him stand out. He loves helping growing smiles stay healthy and happy for life. It’s one of the many reasons he enjoys coming to work each day!
Dr. Royse and his wife, Wendy, have two grown children. Since their careers have taken them out of state, he and Wendy enjoy spending their time together traveling, hiking, gardening, and cooking.
Dr. Malinda Kearbey’s journey to becoming the exceptional dentist she is today began at Loma Linda University, which is where she earned her DDS. After graduation, she worked in a family dental practice and a children’s clinic. Today, she is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and multiple other professional organizations.

Dr. Kearbey loves spending her time outside the office with her husband (Dr. Brandon Kearbey!) and their two wonderful daughters. She also likes playing piano and golfing.
We love the Dentist at Orenco Kids. Our 5 year old always looks forward to going to the dentist. He loves being able to watch a show while they clean his teeth. The staff is amazing! So patient and friendly. Today was our 2 year old’s first trip to the dentist. He was excited because he knows his brother loves going. They were great with him!
